Friday, September 25

Registration

Time: 3 - 9 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Lobby

Planetarium Shows

Time: 7 & 8 p.m.
Location: North Country Planetarium, Hudson Hall

Relax in a plush reclining chair surrounded by deep-pile carpet and gaze at the stars in our state-of-the-art North Country Planetarium. Our live programs are interactive and feature realistic night skies as well as virtual reality journeys through the solar system and beyond. Admission is free - tickets are required and will be available at the registration table - limited space! Shows will also be offered on Saturday.

Suny Plattsburgh Gospel Choir

Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Subway, Angell College Center

The Gospel Choir, one of the largest groups on campus, will be performing a selection of energetic and inspiring tunes that will start your evening of entertainment off right.

Coffee House With Mark Rust

Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Subway, Angell College Center

Wrap up your evening with multi-talented musician Mark Rust as he performs on the piano, guitar, fiddle, banjo, mountain dulcimer, and hammered dulcimer. Everyone is welcome to this event, appropriate for all ages. Refreshments will be available.

Weekend At Burghy's: Friday Nights Presents Trivia Competition

Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Subway, Angell College Center

Grab a team of friends and family and join us for a fun-filled trivia competition and refreshments!  Great prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories.

Saturday, September 26

Registration

Time: 8 a.m. - 12p.m.

Pancake Breakfast

Time: 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Location: Newman Center

The Inter Sorority Association invites you to their FREE Pancake Breakfast.  Donations for St. Jude Children's Hospital are welcomed!

Coffee, Croissants, And Conversation

Time: 9 - 10 a.m.
Location: Alumni Conference Room, Angell College Center

Is your student still in bed? Join us for free cup of coffee and assorted pastries. Hosted by William D. Laundry, Vice President for Student Affairs and Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society.

Intro To Rock Climbing

Time: 9 & 10:30 a.m.
Location: Memorial Hall Fitness Center

Learn the basics and experience our new indoor rock climbing wall with the Intro to Rock Climbing instruction. Free tickets will be available at the registration table. Spots are limited.

3-Mile Fun Run And Walk

Time: 9:30 a.m. (Signup begins at 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Student Health Center)
Location: Student Health Center Parking Lot

The Center for Student Health & Psychological Services is sponsoring a fun run/walk with the emphasis on FUN! Prizes will be awarded to winners in running and walking categories.

Burlington  Bus Trip

Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Bus will pick up in front of Angell College Center

The bus will drop you off on Church Street in Burlington, VT. You'll have approximately 4 hours to shop, eat, and explore. We will leave Burlington at 3p.m. and return to Plattsburgh around 4p.m.  Tickets cost $12 per person. Advance registration is strongly encouraged as space is limited.

Campus Tour

Time: 11 a.m.
Location: Meet at the Angell College Center Information Desk

Enjoy a guided tour of campus, hosted by one of our  Student Ambassadors.

Planetarium Shows

Time: 1 & 2 p.m.
Location: North Country Planetarium, Hudson Hall. See Friday's schedule for details.

Tour Of Campus Art Galleries

Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Burke Gallery, Myers Fine Arts Building (2nd Floor)

Plattsburgh is very proud of our "Museum without Walls". Take a guided tour of several of our art galleries, as well as highlights of the sculpture placed throughout campus.

Deans' Reception

Time: 5 p.m.
Location: Winkel Sculpture Court, Myers Fine Arts Building (2nd Floor)

Before dinner, we encourage you to attend this reception hosted by the college's academic deans and faculty members, while you enjoy the beautiful Winkel Sculpture Court. Light refreshments will be served.

Casual Dining

Time: 6:30 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Flynt Commons

Please consider joining some of our campus administrators, faculty, and staff for a special dinner and accompanying entertainment. Dinner will be buffet style with choices including:

A dessert buffet will follow dinner during the dueling pianos show. Advance reservations required - space is limited!

Dueling Pianos

Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Flynt Commons, Angell College Center

After dinner, kick off your evening with an amazing dueling pianos performance presented by 176 Keys. Dueling pianos are a unique form of entertainment - music, comedy, and audience interaction mixed into one. You are sure to have a great time at this high-energy show! Enjoy a complimentary dessert buffet.

Weekend At Burghy's: Bingo

Time: 10 p.m.
Location: Flynt Commons, Angell College Center

Sunday, September 27

Presidents' Lakeside Breakfast Buffet

Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Valcour Educational Conference CenterBoathouse

Before heading home, join us for a delicious breakfast buffet on the scenic shores of Lake Champlain, overlooking historic Valcour Island, site of the first major naval engagement of the American Revolution.  Breakfast will be hosted by College President John Ettling and Student Association President Lindsay Lyons, with special musical accompaniment from several talented students.
