Planetarium Shows
Time: 6 & 7 p.m.
Location: North Country Planetarium, Hudson Hall
Relax in a plush reclining chair surrounded by deep-pile carpet and gaze at the stars in our state-of-the-art North Country Planetarium. Our live programs are interactive and feature realistic night skies as well as virtual reality journeys through the solar system and beyond. Admission is free - tickets are required and will be available at the registration table - limited space! Shows will also be offered on Saturday.
SUNY Plattsburgh Gospel Choir
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Ballrooms
The Gospel Choir, one of the largest groups on campus, will be performing a selection of energetic and inspiring tunes that will start your evening of entertainment off right.
Hypnotist
Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Ballrooms
Wrap up your evening with The "Trance Lady". Her show is Monty Python funny, but designed to never embarrass anyone. Stage participants may forget their names, talk like Martians, or become movie stars, but when they 'awaken' they feel great and remember it all! Everyone is welcome to this event, appropriate for all ages. Refreshments will be available.

If you are on campus before your student is awake, stop in for a complimentary cup of coffee and danish and visit with campus Deans and other administrators.
Intro To Rock Climbing
Time: 9 a.m. & 10:30 a.m.
Location: Memorial Hall Fitness Center
Learn the basics and experience our new indoor rock climbing wall with the Intro to Rock Climbing instruction. Free tickets will be available at the registration table. Spots are limited.
Morning Fitness Madness
Time: Opens at 9 a.m.
Location: Memorial Hall Fitness Center
Experience a top-notch fitness center at a low-impact speed. Open all day with locker facilities available.
3-MILE Fun Run and Walk
Time: 9:30 a.m.
Location: Student Health Center Parking Lot
The Center for Student Health & Psychological Services is sponsoring a fun run/walk with the emphasis on FUN! Prizes will be awarded to winners in running and walking categories. Signup begins at 9 a.m. in the lobby of the Student Health Center.
Burlington Bus Trip
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Bus will pick up in front of Angell College Center
The bus will drop you off on Church Street in Burlington, VT. You'll have approximately 4 hours to eat and shop and will leave Burlington at 3 p.m. Tickets cost $10 per person. Advance reservation is strongly encouraged as space is limited.
Lake Placid Bus Trip
Time: 10 a.m.
Location: Bus will pick up in front of Angell College Center
The bus will stop at Rulf's Orchard in Peru, NY where you can pick up fresh apples, cider, and homemade donuts before continuing on to Lake Placid. Explore the shops and restaurant along Main Street or enjoy a side tour of some of the Olympic Venues. The bus leaves to return to Plattsburgh at 3 PM. Tickets cost $10 per person. Advance reservation is strongly encouraged as space is limited.

History Of Plattsburgh
Time: 1 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Alumni Conference Room
Join us to learn more about the history of SUNY Plattsburgh and the surrounding community. Presented by Dr. Doug Skopp, College Historian and SUNY Distinguished Teaching Professor of History Emeritus, you are sure to appreciate this look at the college's "Proud Past".
Tour Of Campus Art Galleries
Time: 2 p.m.
Location: Burke Gallery, Myers Fine Arts Building (2nd Floor)
Plattsburgh is very proud of our "Museum without Walls". Take a guided tour of several of our art galleries, as well as highlights of the sculpture placed throughout campus.
Ice Skating With Burghy
Time: 3 - 4 p.m.
Location: Stafford Ice Arena, Field House
College mascot Burghy, a favorite with children, is taking to the ice for a free open skate. This is a perfect afternoon activity for young kids or the kid at heart! Free skate rentals - all sizes. Refreshments will be available.
Dean's Reception
Before dinner, please consider attending one of these receptions hosted by our Academic Deans and members of the faculty. Light refreshments will be served.

Casual Dining

Please consider joining some of our campus administrators, faculty, and staff for a special dinner and accompanying entertainment. Dinner will be served buffet style with choices including: Hungarian mushroom soup, spring mix salad, rotini pasta salad, sundried tomato and spinach stuffed chicken breast with mornay sauce, carved roast beef, roasted new potatoes, glazed baby carrots, orzo stuffed portabello mushroom, and rolls. A dessert buffet will follow dinner during the dueling pianos show. Cost is $19 per person, $10 for ages 3-12 and free for children under 3. Advance reservations required - limited space!
Dueling Pianos
Time: 8 p.m.
Location: Angell College Center Warren Ballrooms
After dinner, kick off your evening with an amazing dueling pianos performance presented by 176 Keys. Dueling pianos are a unique form of entertainment - music, comedy, and audience interaction mixed into one. You are sure to have a great time at this high-energy show! Enjoy a complimentary dessert buffet along with the show.
"Late Night" Presents Bingo

Feeling lucky? Come to our evening BINGO and take a chance! Late Night is a weekly series that offers a wide range of events and acts for students each Saturday. Stop in for a chance to win lots of great prizes. Snacks and soda will be served.

President's Lakeside Breakfast Buffet

Location: Valcour Educational Conference CenterBoathouse
Before heading home, join us for a breakfast buffet on the scenic shore of Lake Champlain, overlooking historic Valcour Island, site of the first major naval engagement of the American Revolution. Breakfast will be hosted by College President John Ettling and Student Association President Angel Acosta with special musical accompaniment by the talented Cardinal Singers. Tickets cost $9 per person, $5 ages 3-12, and free for children under 3. Advance reservations required - limited space!
