Transfer Orientation at SUNY Plattsburgh

Check-In Times for Transfer Orientation

Check-in for Transfer Orientation begins at 8:00am and ends at 9:00am in the Angell College Center Lobby. (Please park in Lot 16 or 28 to enter the Angell College Center Lobby. The address for this lot is 101 Broad St. Plattsburgh, NY 12901)

If you need overnight accommodations check-in will be 7-9pm in Whiteface Hall the night before your session. (Please park in Lot 18 to enter Whiteface Hall.)

  • Session 1: Friday, June 24 (with overnight option on June 23)

Grab and go breakfast will be available in the Angell College Center Lobby.

Check-In

Join Bryan Hartman, Vice President for Student Affairs, for a welcome to SUNY Plattsburgh followed by some tips about how you can be successful inside and outside the classroom.

Advisement

Time: 10 – 11:30 a.m.
Location: Warren Ballrooms

College faculty members will be on hand to help you choose which classes to take this fall.

Course Registration

Time: 10:30 – 12:30 p.m.
Location: Feinberg Library

Lunch

Time: 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.
Location: For those families interested in eating lunch on campus, you may purchase food at Clinton Dining Hall or Subway (located in the Angell College Center).

Join in on the conversation about how to make healthy choices regarding alcohol and drug use and personal safety.

"Step UP! to Prevent Sexual Assault."

Learn how you can make a difference in preventing sexual violence on your campus. This session will help you become educated and empowered to act. 

Your Guide to Meal Plans, Textbooks, Cardinal Cash and More

Financial Aid/Payment Info

Time: 4 – 4:30 p.m.
