Teaching, Learning and Technology Advisory Group
The Teaching Learning Technology Advisory Group serves to facilitate the development of Plattsburgh State's technological infrastructure and to assist in the incorporation of technology into the curriculum. Appointed by the President, in consultation with the Dean of Library and Information Services, the group consists of faculty, staff, and students.
Charge of the Teaching Learning Technology Advisory Group (TL-TAG)
The Teaching Learning Technology Advisory Group's primary responsibilities are:
- To advise the President and the Dean of Library and Information Services on the uses of technology which directly affect the teaching and learning mission of the Plattsburgh State, including technology taught as a key element of a curriculum; technology as a pedagogical tool; and technology use for administrative support;
- To review the College's technology plan, and participate in its redrafting on an established cyclical basis;
- To foster the development of a campus environment which facilitates the integration of technology into the classroom;
- To provide guidance on the use of technology grants, fees, and other extraordinary technology fund expenditures;
- To review and recommend establishing of campus policy related to the use of educational technology;
- To provide a communications link to the campus community on issues of technology.
