Careers in Nutrition
Nutrition professionals use food and nutrition to promote health and optimize disease management and quality of life. Some jobs require credentials, such as a registered dietetic technician and registered dietitian-nutritionist, and some jobs may not, such as nutrition educator, food service manager and more. A bachelor’s degree in nutrition from SUNY Plattsburgh prepares you for a wide range of jobs in nutrition and related areas. With an increased focus on nutrition and health, as well as trends in demographics and body weight, the job outlook for nutrition professionals is forecasted to be much faster than the average for all professions.
