Welcome back! Dr. Dixon returns from a one year Sabbatical Leave. She spent some of her active research time in residence at the Poynter Center for the Study of Ethics and American Institutions, Indiana University (

New Course

A new course titled “Food Justice” makes its debut in the fall 2013 semester taught by Dr. Dixon. If you missed it, look for this course again in fall 2014.

New Practicum

PHI 395 “Ethics in Action” will be offered in spring 2014. This is a required practicum for new students entering into the Study Option in Ethics and Social Philosophy major. BUT any student may enroll. Apply your interest in ethics to real world situations and problems. See the description here:
