Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? Dr. Michael Morgan. He is the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs Office and Professor of Communication Sciences & Disorders. I aspire to be like him one day because he inspires me to be a great professional in the near future.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Night of Nations because people from different cultures come together and put on a great show.
Favorite spot on campus and why? Feinberg Library, I am always there!.
Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? My public speaking professor Tracy Guynup. His class doesn't just cover the material, he goes above and beyond to explain real life current events and situations we may find ourselves in here at school. It's been a huge help and he has taught me some really good coping mechanisms for when I get social anxiety.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Zumba classes! Its judgement free, loads of fun and a great workout!
Favorite spot on campus and why? The bike path behind Memorial Hall. It's my favorite spot because I find it very relaxing to just sit in the grass, talk with friends, enjoy the outdoors and watch the river.
Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? The advisors at SUNY Plattsburgh are amazing and have really pushed me to take challenging classes. My advisor, Dr. Joel Parker has been a huge help during my time here. Dr. Parker takes his time with students during his advisement sessions and makes sure that you are taking classes that will apply to your desired field. He goes out of his way to make sure that you are on the right track for graduation and post-graduation plans. Not only is he an excellent advisor but his award winning research in genetics is fascinating.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Transfer Student orientation was one of my favorite experiences. I was just so excited to attend Plattsburgh and to be on campus. On top of that, I met some of my best friends during orientation.
Favorite spot on campus and why? My favorite campus spot would have to be Einstein's. Not only do they have great food and coffee, but it has a real coffeehouse feel to it. I love that I can sit down and study or meet up with friends for a meal, it's really the best of both worlds.

Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? Sarah Charles. She is my academic advisor and one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She always encourages me and pushes me to do my best.
Favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Joining my sorority! I come from a very small town so coming to Plattsburgh was a new experience for me. Being a part of Alpha Phi has helped me to meet so many new people, become more involved on campus, and have a home away from home with my sisters.
Favorite spot on campus and why? Hawkins Pond. They finished the pond last fall and since then it has certainly become a popular spot. I enjoying studying there, hanging out with friends, or just relaxing and soaking up some sun rays!
Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? My CSD 241 Professor Magdlena Hertel because she not only taught me the course material, but she reaffirmed the love and the reason I chose this major to begin with.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Going to Plattsburgh city beach in May and diving into the freezing cold Lake Champlain water with my friends.
Favorite spot on campus and why? The field behind Memorial Hall, by the Saranac River. It's a really great spot to hang out and de-stress.
Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? Scott Sheehan. He is the Resident Director of Macdonough Hall and for the summer he was the Director of the Student Staff for Freshman Orientation. This last summer he inspired me to become more involved on campus. It was beyond amazing working with him and I have learned so much.
Favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why?Working Freshman Orientation. It was an amazing experience where I got to meet many new people and share my knowledge and love of SUNY Plattsburgh.
Favorite spot on campus and why? The Nina Winkel Sculpture Court. In fact, it is the second-largest gallery in North America dedicated to the art of one woman. However, the true essence of the gallery comes from its ability to act as a nice retreat from a stressful day.
