Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? My geography professor Dr. Janet Puhalla has been very influential with regards to obtaining internships and inspiring me to travel.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? At the beginning of the year the students and professors in the Center for Earth and Environmental Science stayed in cabins off campus and got to know each other, while hiking and learning about the Adirondacks.
Favorite spot on campus and why? I love to hang my hammock on the bank of the Saranac River behind the dorms when the weather is nice. I am able to study here as well as spend time with friends.
Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? Dr. Becky Kasper was my "Introduction to World Religions" professor, in my Freshman year. She taught me so much about the five major religions of the world, and opened my eyes to many different perspectives on the way I live life.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Being part of the Women’s Soccer Team. I have met so many great people that I am proud to call my best friends. I have made countless memories during practices and road trips, that I will carry with me the rest of my life. That is priceless.
Favorite spot on campus and why? The Blue Room. Not only is it a good spot to get work done, but it’s also a really great spot to meet up and hangout with friends.

Most influential person you have met at SUNY Plattsburgh so far and why? April Davis, Nursing Skills Lab Resource Manager. She taught me it is okay to stand up for myself and advocate for everyone who can’t advocate for themselves.
Your favorite experience at SUNY Plattsburgh and why? Joining my sorority. I met so many amazing girls that I can now not only call my sisters but also my best friends. Joining Theta Phi Alpha was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made while being in Plattsburgh.
Favorite spot on campus and why? The trees by Hawkins Pond. I tie my hammock up on the trees and do my homework when it’s nice outside.
