SUNY Adirondack Transfer Students


SUNY Plattsburgh and SUNY Adirondack have a long-standing partnership, and are jointly committed to making your transfer process streamlined and straightforward. We have articulation agreements and advisement guides designed to allow you to seamlessly transfer credit.

SUNY Plattsburgh offers 60+ bachelor’s degree programs, including two online bachelor’s degree completion programs in accounting and nursing, at our main campus. We also offer four bachelor’s degree completion programs, including nursing, at our SUNY Plattsburgh Branch Campus at Queensbury.

Instant Decision Days at SUNY Adirondack

A SUNY Plattsburgh admissions advisor will be at SUNY Adirondack Community College Feb. 28, March 20, April 18 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to individually discuss any questions you have about academic programs, admissions requirements, or the application process. The Instant Decision Day is designed to give students who may be looking to transfer for the fall 2018 semester a decision on the spot!

SUNY Plattsburgh Branch Campus at Queensbury

Our Branch Campus at Queensbury, is located on the SUNY Adirondack campus, offering four bachelors completion programs in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Psychology, and R.N. to B.S. in Nursing. The Branch Campus allows for SUNY Adirondack graduates interested in staying in the Capital District to be taught by Plattsburgh faculty in a convenient location with flexible course offerings.

Articulation Agreements

Articulation agreements ensure you are on the most efficient pathway to obtain your associate’s degree from SUNY Adirondack and your bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh. These agreements ensure that credit from a specified associate’s degree program will seamlessly transfer into a specified bachelor’s degree program. This will allow you to complete both degrees in four years of full-time study.
