Guidelines and Expectations for Tours and Research Visits at Feinberg Library
To ensure the best possible experience at Feinberg Library, we ask that visitors be mindful of these guidelines when visiting with a group.
Supervision of Group - A faculty member, teacher, librarian, or other appropriate group leader should accompany the group while in the library. For high-school-age or younger visitors, there must be one librarian/teacher/adult for every 10 students.
Group Size - Groups are limited to 30 participants. Special arrangements may be made to accommodate larger sized groups.
Research Visits - If there is an assignment involved with the tour, it becomes a research visit. The assignment should be reviewed with your Feinberg Library contact prior to the visit; this will ensure the proper information resources and research skills will be covered during the visit.

Visitors who are not Plattsburgh State faculty or students can arrange in-library use of books, periodicals, reference materials, government documents, and electronic resources. The Feinberg library has photocopiers and fiche/film copiers.
Faculty, staff, and currently enrolled Plattsburgh State students, have access to Interlibrary Loan privileges and have first priority use of all library resources.
