11:47am EDT, 16 Mar 2017

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (March 16, 2017) — SUNY Plattsburgh’s School of Business and Economics will host an open house Friday, March 24 from noon to 3 p.m. for the school’s new Center for Cybersecurity and Technology.

In addition to guest speakers who will discuss the importance of cybersecurity now more than ever, the event will also provide an opportunity for networking for those interested in cybersecurity. A complimentary luncheon will be served, followed by a tour of the center.

Located in Room 126 of Au Sable Hall, the center is a collaboration between the faculty from the Departments of Computer Science, and Management, Information Systems and Analytics. It will host cybersecurity projects and research to offer students hands-on opportunities to practice skills learned in the classroom. Interns in the center will be on hand during the open house to answer any questions or to discuss the projects they are working on.
