Student Support Services Mathematics Skills Specialist

I am the Senior Math Skills Specialist for Student Support Services. I have been working for the office of Student Support Services for almost 28 years. I am a first generation college student. I have taught and tutored Elementary College Math, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Elementary Statistics.  All SSS eligible students may make an appointment with me, or check the Math Walk-In Schedule at the beginning of each new semester.

Hometown: Chateaugay, NY

Personal/Academic Profile: BA Mathematics (1986), M.S.Ed. Master of Science in Education (Reading Specialization)

Courses tutored in our SSS Math Walk-In: Elementary College Math, Pre-calculus, Calculus, Trigonometry, and Statistics.

Hobbies/Personal Interests: My family loves the Boston Red Sox, in fact when my husband and I were first dating, we would camp close to Woodstock Vt. at a State Park and drive into Boston to watch a game at Fenway park. We have since continued the tradition with our children. If you ever have the opportunity to go to Boston, you must go to Mike's Pastry. You will find it along the freedom trail.

Favorite Quote: "There are three qualities that make someone a true professional. These are the ability to work unsupervised, the ability to certify the completion of a job or task and, finally, the ability to behave with integrity at all times." - Subroto Bagchi
