"Student Support Services has truly become such a vital component since I came back to SUNY Plattsburgh. Not only do they help keep my weekly schedule on track and organized, but they also help me look towards the future and what I should aim for. Without the help from SSS, I don't think I could successfully manage being a full time student, a mother, and also working. Having the opportunity to be in this program is such an asset during my academic career."

"The Student Support Services program at SUNY Plattsburgh has given me the opportunity to learn and grow as an individual. The reason I am a student at SUNY Plattsburgh is because of the Student Support Services program. The program has given me the chance to succeed and they saw something in me despite some academic challenges that I face. Student Support Services has not only allowed me to succeed academically but it has given me the confidence to help make a difference here by running for office and becoming the Senator of Public Relations for Student Government. Everyone deserves to have the chance to pursue higher education and I am fortunate enough to have that chance because of Student Support Services."

"Student Support Services has helped me integrate more into the campus community through the constant influx of beneficial programs, scholarships, and mentorships. The advisors care extensively for the students and go above and beyond to help the students with any needs, both academically and personally. My advisor helped me find the major that was right for me and I have not doubted myself since then. This program is truly extraordinary and it made college a much better experience."

"SUNY Plattsburgh's Student Support Services, specifically the STAR program, granted me the opportunity to be a SUNY Plattsburgh student. Not only did representatives of the program see my worth, they also helped me with any difficult assignment. Let's just say, I passed statistics with the help of several knowledgeable SSS workers."

"Student Support Services has been a major part of my college experience. It has helped me plan, organize and better prepare me for classes, exams, and other areas of college. Without them I would not be here in college writing this to you. Each and every person I have met with has given me the tools to succeed and has been very beneficial and essential in my college career."

"Student Support Services is a family, in a time in a young person's life where they have just left their family for the first extended period of time. They are the ones you turn to with any question, no matter what it is, and they will give you a sympathetic ear and more often than not have great input to provide. They are very knowledgeable and do not let you fall short of what your potential is. They are there every step of the way coaching and rooting for your success. Without them, in my case, there would not be someone I can talk to every week about pressing issues not only at school but in life. SSS is great!"
