Fuel Efficient Vehicle Registration

Special requirements qualify a fuel efficient vehicle for limited reserved parking privileges at AuSable Hall, according to USGBC (United States Green Building Council) and LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) acceptable standards for low emission vehicles:

As determined by the campus Sustainability Officer, vehicle shall be:

  • listed in the ACEEE’s (American Council for Energy Efficient Economy) Green Book© with a score of 40 or above.
  • classified as a Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) by the California Air Resources Board."
  • properly registered with the University Police (UPD upon payment of applicable parking registration fees and/or fines; and display a valid parking hang tag. NOTE: Annual recertification is required.
