Faculty/Staff Parking Registration

All vehicles must be properly registered and display valid hang tags when parked on campus; except in open lots at the Field House, time-restricted spaces, or in designated lots for public events. Online registration for the new academic year begins August 1.

Faculty/Staff Parking Fees

Faculty/staff parking fees are based on the employee’s collective bargaining unit, which for most individuals is $30. Management Confidential employees pay applicable parking fees through payroll deduction. Any faculty/staff employee, who is a veteran, with an honorable discharge from active military duty, pays no parking fees when the appropriate registration requirements are met (see below.)

Faculty/Staff With Access to Online Registration

Login to, click on the EMPLOYEES tab to access the AUTOMOBILE REGISTRATION tab, and complete these steps:

Step 1 - Pay Parking Registration Fee: Click on the ‘PROCESS THE $30 PARKING REGISTRATION FEE’ button to access payment screen for credit card or electronic check payment. Cash only payments must be made at Student Accounts, Kehoe 101. NOTE: Where applicable, some employees and 3rd party affiliates also pay a parking fee at a rate agreed upon by the applicable negotiating unit that is billed by payroll deduction.

Step 2 - Register Vehicle: Add a vehicle under ADD A VEHICLE, then CONFIRM or REMOVE all vehicles under VEHICLES ON FILE.

Faculty/Staff Without Access to Online Registration

Shall pay applicable parking fees to Student Accounts, Kehoe 101, and file a Parking Registration Form with University Police, Health Center Building (or Authorized Agent, where applicable) as outlined below:

  • Temp Hire (hired 30 days or more): Pay parking registration fee to Student Accounts, and submit paid receipt and parking registration form to department Supervisor for bulk submission to the UPD Parking Manager for processing.
  • Third-Party and Affiliate Organizations: Pay applicable parking fees, as contracted, to Student Accounts; and submit paid receipt and registration form to the UPD Parking Manager through the organization’s ‘Authorized Agent’.
  • Emeriti/Alumni: Pay registration fee to Student Accounts and file registration form with UPD Parking Manager for processing.

"Special" Parking Privileges for Qualifying Faculty/Staff

Special parking privileges are available to individual’s that meet specific qualifying requirements.
