BIO341 - DNA and Bioinformatics (3 cr.)

Bioinformatics merges the fields of biology, informational technology and computer sciences into a single discipline. The students will conduct DNA and protein experiments, then use computers for the retrieval, storage, and analysis of their results and biological information that has been stored in large databanks. Liberal Arts Prerequisite(s): BIO305 and CHE112. Semester(s) Offered: Every Other Spring.
