NUR347 - Pharmacology for Nurses (3 cr.)

This course addresses pharmacological management across a client's lifespan, defining the nurse's role and responsibilities in drug therapy. Pharmacological principles including pharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and toxicity will be introduced. Students will apply pharmacological principles for provision of safe client care and improved outcomes. Prerequisite(s): NUR314. Semester(s) Offered: Fall.
