All SUNY Plattsburgh Digest email that you receive is powered by Google Apps. It allows for an easier to use and more streamlined Digest email that works on mobile devices and permits attachments.
Can faculty and staff use Google Groups and Delegated Emails?
Yes. The Helpdesk can migrate departments from older group emails to new delegated email accounts or to Google Groups. These two options have various benefits depending on the use case for the public email address. If your office has or needs a public email address that multiple people need to check or receive email for, Google Groups may be the best option. Contact the Helpdesk for more information and for a consultation to determine if one of these options will benefit you.
